How it works

Using your insurance at our counter is simple.

STEP 01

Bring three things

A valid doctor’s prescription, your insurance card, and your Emirates ID. No prescription, no insurance approval — that’s the insurers’ rule.

STEP 02

We get the approval

Our pharmacist submits your prescription to your insurer and processes the approval at the counter.

STEP 03

Pay only your share

You pay just your co-payment (if your plan has one) and collect your medicines.

What do I need to bring to use my insurance?
Your physical or digital insurance card, your Emirates ID, and your prescription. That's it — we handle the rest at the counter.
Can I use my insurance without a prescription?
No — insurance approvals always require a valid doctor’s prescription. Over-the-counter purchases without a prescription (and items like most vitamins and personal care products) are paid in cash or by card.
How long does insurance approval take?
Most approvals are processed at the counter while you wait. Some medicines need prior approval from your insurer, which can take longer — in that case we'll submit the request and message you as soon as it's approved.
My insurer isn't on your list. Can I still use my insurance?
Possibly — networks change and many plans run through the TPA networks we work with. Send a photo of your insurance card on WhatsApp to 04 330 7808 and we'll check your eligibility in minutes.
What if my insurance doesn't cover a medicine?
We'll tell you the cash price upfront, and where appropriate our pharmacist can ask your doctor about covered alternatives. No surprises at the counter.
Do you accept insurance for vitamins and equipment?
Coverage for vitamins, supplements and medical equipment depends on your individual plan — most plans cover prescribed medicines only. Ask us and we'll check what your plan includes.
